Smartphone Vs PC
Have you ever wondered or thought, why smartphones are more faster than PC...!!
Then here is your answer with some technical examples and stuff....
Actually it has two different reasons and explanations..., one is software and other is Hardware. Both plays equal role making this happen, but is it actually smartphone is faster than PC...? the technical answer will be NO. It is because, however the booting time of smartphone is comparatively faster than PC but if we recall, the Computers have much more powerful processors than in smartphones then why it is happening....!?
Software
When it comes to software, the Operating system we use in the smartphones, may be Android, Apple OS (IOS) are designed according to the size and specifications of application, designed for smartphones itself, the background tasks and operating of this applications are much less compared to the Operating systems that we use in Computers they may be Windows, Mac(IOS), Linux. In this operating systems the software installed in it requires more power to run as they contains many background tasks working.
So, the booting of every application in the Smartphone is happening very fast compare to Computers, the processors we use in the smartphones are powerful for the smartphone itself, it manages the simple tasks of the applications in the mobile phones(Snapdragon, Mediatek, Exynos), when it comes to the processors in the Computers they are very huge chip sets which performs heavy tasks, and they are made to do so...,(IOS, Intel, AMD).
It is confirmed that technically Computer chip sets(processors) are very powerful than the smartphone processors, but it all depends on the background tasks, as there are light applications in the smartphones which require less clock time processors, and it performs great.
Hardware
As there is always a Hardware to maintain or run a device and it has a major role in any system or electronic devices which makes them faster, there are many reasons, it may be RAM management or the processor functionality, it actually depend on the clock time and the tasks that processor takes the responsibility of whatever it may be the Computer or the smartphone, the processors and the Motherboard of the devices are made based on the software or application capacity.
In simple words the smartphone processors are practically fast and technically not powerful.
But the Computer processors are practically slow and technically powerful than smartphone's
There is another explanation for the smartphones for the fastness they acquire, as the mobile phones are the partial devices of embedded systems, we cant tell that they are totally embedded as an Embedded systems are the systems which designed to perform dedicated functions, it is a special purpose computer system.
Storage in mobiles and Computers(HDD, SSD flash storage or eMMC)
We all know the functioning of the devices are also depend on the type of storage they use, in earlier ages the Computers have the storage called Hard disk drive(HDD), which are mechanical storage devices, they writes the memory mechanically the 0's and 1's, a platter writes them on the disks, reading of the memory also works in the same way. As they are mechanically working devices the speed of reading and writing are less compared to the SSD. HDD's are cheaper in cost and also easily available in huge storage capacity in the market, with 1TB to 20TB(Terabytes).
HDD
As technology is evolving there are many changes happened in the field of storage, then smartphones came into existence and they even faster than the computers using HDD's as they are using the technology of storage called the Embedded MultiMediacard (eMMC), we know them as SD cards,
they are built using flash storage as it is small in size and cost less so they are very preferred by the smartphone manufacturers, these technology is not mechanical storing as they have embedded and integrated slots or drives in it to store the data they store 0's and 1's digitally. So they are fast and power efficient.

Solid state drive (SSD)
These type of drives are again non mechanical drives which are digital and stores the memory in the form of 0's and 1's digitally and both reading and writing process is done in the same way, these are similar to the eMMC's they have many common structures or functions, but in the present Computers SSD's are very much in use, and they are a bit expensive compared to the HDD's but the users prefer to the fastness of the device, the working of the SSD is explained below
